JAMMU: The BJP Convener Puneet Mahajan, Health and Medical Cell Jammu & Kashmir
felicitated Dr. Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal and Dean Govermment Medical College Jammu for effectivel & efficiently fighting the war against Corona and Dengue.

He applauded her as she took the charge of Principal that too amid corona crisis. Puneet was full of words for Sudhan that she started just from the word go after joining and managed the covid-19 crisis since the whole load of testing & treating was mainly on GMC but still they managed the crisis in the best way.

BJP supports & is hopeful that she will keep on doing her duties to the best of her ability & capability for which she is already on the job.

Puneet Mahajan assured her that wherever she need any volunteers any time entire Health and Medical Cell team is available 24X7 to serve the cause of the people for which already our workers are on their toes since the beginning of Corona crisis.

Mr. Mahajan also discussed Dengue issue with Principal GMC and ask them to make people vigilant about
the ongoing problem bycreating awareness by different means viz addressing the media by senior doctors
and educate the masses over the issue.

He asked all the concern that he will remain in touch and said further that it is an emergency and we have
stop spreading of dengue by all efforts and public in general should get dengue fever tested in case of fever
without disturbing the patient and incase it is found positive follow up of taking maximum fluid can be given at residence also and in case there is drastic fall of platelet then they must got patient admitted and best way is to take care of the patient and stop their movement. Don’t allow water to be collected in cooler adjoining to house as it grows in fresh water.

Principal on this occasion thanked the convener for appreciating the work and sacrifice of the doctors and
health care workers in fighting the Covid-19 Pandemic.
