JAMMU, FEBRUARY 26: Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, GoC 9 Corps today paid a courtesy call on the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.

The Lt Governor and the GoC discussed about the current security situation and issues relating to the security management in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Lt Governor appreciated Army’s role in maintaining peace and security and stressed the importance of maintaining a sustained coordination between the Army and other security forces to meet the security challenges in the J&K.
