RAJOURI : Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, today inaugurated a free eye checkup and medical camp for drivers and conductors of commercial vehicles organised by Motor Vehicle Department in collaboration with Health Department at Bus Stand Rajouri.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Yougal Manhas, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Inzar Rana Medical Officers, Motor Vehicle Department Inspectors besides other concerned were present in the camp..

During the camp, doctors team conducted the medical check-up, eye test of the drivers and conductors and provided them free medicines. The slogans and road sign pamphlets were also distributed among 200 commercial drivers and conductors who participated in the camp.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC advised the participants to avoid over speeding, drunken driving, use of mobile phone while driving, wrong overtaking and underage driving to avert the fatal road accidents to save precious lives.
