JAMMU, FEB 15: It is noteworthy that the VIP culture in India is not vanishing but is prevalent and moving at a faster speed than ever before. There are innumerable instances which may be seen everywhere and anywhere you go either it’s a marriage function, a seminar or on the roads but it is omnipresent.

Today when I was driving on the road towards High Court Complex Jammu which is situated at Janipur Jammu Union Territory I observed a long halt of vehicles on the left side of the road which is the right side for driving the vehicles in India but the right side of the road which is meant for the traffic heading on was looking clear and hardly any traffic was moving on that side of the road which was to my dismay as we were stuck unnecessarily on our side.

From inquiry I came to know that some VIP movement was facilitated by traffic police from the wrong side of the road at the cost of disturbing the huge movement of general public and vehicular traffic which indicates that this culture of VIP is not diminishing from our soil but heading strongly in India.
