JAMMU, JANUARY 30: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has extended the date for final publication of Electoral Rolls in Jammu and Kashmir to 7 February 2019.

According to Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Shailendra Kumar, his office is in the process of informing all the political parties about the extension of date for the final publication of the Electoral Rolls, which is a constitutional requirement.

On inquiring about the enrollment of new voters and updations, Kumar said it is a continuous process and new voters can get enrolled anytime online on http://www.nvsp.in or download ‘Voter Helpline’ App from Google Play Store. He said voters can also get information on Universal Voter Helpline ‘1950’.
