An Indian Air Force Jaguar Fighter Aircraft crashed near Gorakhpur today at 1240 hrs. The aircraft was on a routine mission and was airborne from Gorakhpur at 1211 hrs. Aircraft crashed at approximate distance of 46 Km east of Gorakhpur. Pilot ejected safely. A court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.
