JAMMU NOVEMBER 26: Today, ‘Life Time Fitness Gym’ organised an impressive function at Bhalwal Karwanda, Jammu to honour youth who represented J&K in national and international level in weight lifting and boxing championships . Senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta presided over the function as Chief guest.
On occasion , owner of the Gym Manu Khajuria told MLC Vibodh Gupta that a boy from their gym , Prince Soodan , participated in an international boxing championship and received gold medal while Sandhok Singh Chib, Anurag Magotra, Rajat sharma, Rohit sharma, Kush Kerni, Balvinder Singh, Ravinder Singh and Ram Thapa received state level medals in various weight lifting and body building championships. 
Addressing the gathering, MLC Vibodh Gupta appreciated Manu Khajuria and other sportsmen for bringing laurel to the state in the field of sports. He said,” J&K is setting new records in sport and credit goes to youth of the state”. He called upon the youth to wage a war against drug menace to develop a healthy society in J&K. He motivated them to stay away from evils such as drug addiction. He said that health is wealth and sport is the best medium to maintain health. He asked people to add exercise and yoga in their daily schedule and lifestyle. 
Vibodh said that center government under the visionary leadership of Honourable PM Narendar Modi is committed to promote sports in J&K. He referred to the upgradation of MAM stadium on ICC lines and said,”The day is not far when Jammu will be hosting international matches.”
