JAMMU: Today is 10th April 2018, the strike called by the High Court Bar Association of Jammu has been entered into the seventh day and almost all  sections of the society are supporting the strike that includes the support of civil society and the political parties, which every one feels that it is in the common interest of the people of Jammu and is for a Jammu cause.

It is a general perception among masses of Jammu that so far as the Jammu region is concerned, it is ignored by the political leadership of the State and it is failed to reach upto the aspirations of the masses of Jammu.

The Lawyer’s community of Jammu, who are always in lead to act as a watchdog on the developments, whether social or political in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, this time also they are on the forefront to espouse Jammu cause by raising demands regarding deportation of the Rohingyas and Bangladeshi Nationals,  handing over of the Kathua rape and murder case to CBI for effective & proper investigations and State government stance on tribal affairs.

To intensify their efforts to bring government to its knees, they have given a general call for Jammu Bandh (complete strike), which will observe on 11 th of April 2018.
