The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, is conducting the three-month nationwide awareness campaign “आपकी पूँजी, आपका अधिकार” from October to December 2025, following its launch by the Union Finance Minister on 4th October 2025 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The campaign seeks to enable citizens to trace and claim their unclaimed deposits, insurance proceeds, dividends, shares, mutual fund balances and pension dues.

The activities emphasised the three guiding principles of the campaign — Awareness, Accessibility and Action. Digital demonstrations and information counters promoted community awareness, while citizens were encouraged to enrol under financial inclusion schemes and complete KYC and re-KYC formalities, thereby strengthening their link with the formal financial system.
