POONCH FEBRUARY 18: Thousands of devotees including those from adjoining districts today thronged Shiv Khori temple to pay obeisance amid Mahashivratri celebration.
AZADI KA AMRIT CELEBRATIONS IN INDIA
Dressed in colorful attires, men, women and children were seen visiting the religious place and relishing a variety of food at the stalls set up BY local vendors along the way on Mandir.
On the auspicious occasion, District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet also paid obeisance at Shiv Khori Temple and participated in the Havan Pooja and sought the blessings of lord Shiva.
The Deputy Commissioner along with other officers of district administration and Army prayed for the wellbeing of the people.
Earlier, the Management Committee of Mandir warmly welcomed and greeted the District administration.
