Jammu Lawyers to intensify strike to twist the Government

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 5: The worthy members of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ), have decided today to intensify and accentuate its ongoing strike to twist the arrogant stance of the Government.

The members of the Jammu Bar are on strike since 40 days and impressing upon the Government to meet their demands which are genuine and in public interest but instead of assuring the lawyers, are trying to avert the issues on one pretext or the other which is exceptionable.

The worthy members of the Jammu Bar Associationd are demanding a multistorey building in the premises of the High Court Complex which will house all the Courts under one roof.

The General House meeting of the lawyers was convened today at 11:30 am at District Court Complex Jammu and after deliberations it was unanimously decided by the jam packed house to intensify the ongoing strike to twist the government to meet their demands.

The lawyers will abstain from appearing in all the Courts including the High Court .

The President of the Jammu Bar Association Senior Advocate Sh. M.K. Bhardwaj presided over the meeting along with other team members and also decided to constitute the action committee of the Bar members who will guide the actions to be taken in the ongoing strike of the Bar.
