The conference was held under the Chairmanship of Joint Secretary (Transport), Union Ministry of Road and Transport, Amit Vardhan, which was among others attended by all State Transport Corporations from across the country.

Pertinently, JKRTC will be rolling out Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) by ending April 2022. In the first phase online ticket booking facilities will be provided for the passenger bus services.
