Banda (UP), Jul 16: Two persons were killed and three others injured when their SUV rammed into a truck parked on a roadside in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district, police said Tuesday.

The accident took place on Monday night near Dingwahi village, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Lal Bharat Kumar Pal said.

Chandra Prakash (29) and Brijesh Yadav (35) died on the spot, while the three injured were taken to a hospital, he said.

Condition of one of the injured is critical, the officer said.
