JAMMU : Governor Satya Pal Malik has congratulated Irfan Ramzan Sheikh on being awarded ‘Shaurya Chakra’, the third highest peacetime decoration of India, for fighting militants who attacked his house in Kashmir.

The Governor observed that the courage with which Irfan fought militants is exemplary and will always be an inspiration for people to defeat ill designs of elements inimical to peace and harmony in the society.
