JAMMU : Advisor to Governor KK Sharma has conveyed his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Nauroz, celebrated as ‘World Arbour Day’.

In his message, the Advisor observed that this festival has important cultural and religious significance. He appealed people to plant trees on the day as per tradition to safeguard the ecology and environment.

He further hoped that it would be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
