New Delhi : Gold prices were up 0.13 per cent to Rs 32,788 per 10 gram Wednesday as traders created fresh positions tracking a firm trend overseas.
Gold for delivery in March was up by Rs 41, or 0.13 per cent, at Rs 32,788 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 1,361 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in April gained Rs 29, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 32,880 per 10 gram in 1,007 lots.
According to analysts, rise in gold futures was mostly in line with a higher trend overseas.
Globally, gold prices edged up 0.16 per cent to USD 1,313.50 an ounce in New York.
