Tony Morrison, 40, a professional snake catcher in Brisbane, Queensland, said he was called out to remove a nearly 5-foot python Tuesday and he arrived to find the snake had wrapped itself around the engine of a resident’s car.

Morrison said the python had likely been attracted to the darkness and warmth under the hood of the vehicle after a meal. He said it may have been wrapped around the car’s engine for several days before being discovered.
