JAMMU, OCTOBER 16: Inspector General of Police Security, Alok Kumar today reviewed the security scenario ahead of bi-annual move of civil secretariat and other offices to the winter capital here at a meeting attended by senior officers from Police/Security Forces and Civil Administration.

The meeting was convened to discuss the security arrangements for smooth and incident free move of Government Offices from Srinagar to Jammu.

The IGP reviewed the security plan in connection with Darbar Move and emphasized for foolproof security arrangements at Civil Secretariat, Raj Bhawan Jammu and other vital installations and VIP residences. He further stressed that vulnerable points be identified and adequate deployment shall be made to prevent any untoward incident.

The officers were directed to maintain highest level of alertness and coordination among themselves and also to share the intelligence related information directly bearing to the forthcoming Panchyat Elections and opening of Darbar Move in real time basis to foil the nefarious designs of ANEs. Bhim Sen Tuti- DIG Jammu, Joginder Singh, SSP Traffic, Kulbir Singh, SSP PCR, Amit Bhasin, SSP Security Jammu, Mohan Lal Kaith, SP APCR Jammu, Nisar Shad, ACR Jammu and Alyas Khan, Dy Director Estate among other officers attended the meeting.
