JAMMU, APRIL 23: Health and Medical Education Department has rebutted a news story which appeared in a media outlet on 17-04-2020 under Caption “CMO Kishtwar takes 2- day off amid pandemic, visits Jammu

Terming the new story baseless and concoct, the department has clarified that CMO Kishtwar had moved to Jammu with prior permission from District Administration.

It further said that District Magistrate (District Development Commissioner) Kishtwar granted permission to CMO to move from Kishtwar to Jammu in connection with sudden Domestic Medical emergency on 14-04-2020 and return back on 15-04-2020.

CMO Kishtwar followed all the protocols regarding COVID-19 while moving from Kishtwar to Jammu and back to Kishtwar. Moreover there is no order regarding ban of travel of government officer from one district to another as officers many a times travel to Jammu for official purposes.
