New Delhi, Jan 24: The Congress on Wednesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was using the central bureau of investigation to prevent a proper investigation against a case involving BJP president Amit Shah.

Pointing out that three judges have been appointed in the case since the hearing on it began, the party alleged that the Prime Minister had directed the CBI to ensure that proper hearing in the case was not held.

Talking to reporters here, AICC spokesperson R P N Singh said,’in the last over three years, the CBI has been controlled by the Prime Minister’s office. The CBI opposed a PIL filed in a case against BJP president Amit Shah.
